So, Subsistence is pretty good then? Another great excuse to play through MGS3 again, as if I needed one \o/

FIFA 06 (PSP, Electronic Arts): 8 / 8 / 7 / 7 - (30/40) yet more proof that outside of their own niche, the Japanese have fuck all clue about games. Find me another who'd mark it 75% and ill show you a fool. :D

I'm confused now. Besides the new camera angle and the online mode, does Subsistence have anything that wasn't already in the PAL version of Snake Eater?

It's three DVD's, man! Three! Stacks of different stuff, including a super 3-hour MGS3 game-engine movie. Zoinks, y'all.

That's kind of what I mean, though. It's got the cinema mode in it so that you can watch any of the cutscenes whenever you want, same as the PAL version, but it's also got all of them spliced together on an extra disc? Isn't that a bit pointless? It's just Kojima wanking off over wanting to be a film director again, no? "For people who don't want to play the game!" Nice extra, but not worth buying a second copy of the game for. Apart from the online mode - which brings with it the additional hassle and cost of getting your PS2 online in the first place, just for the one game - I'm not really seeing why there's the excitement about it.

If you've got a slimline PS2, there's no real hassle involved getting your PS2 online; just plug an ethernet cable into the back.
