On The Road![]() |
Didn't fancy starting a new thread so I thought I'd have a moan about Madcatz in here The RT button on my TE stick stopped responding during a game earlier. Plugging the stick back in sorted it, but there's been another instance of it reported over on rllmuk. I'll have to have a look at SRK to see if there are any more complaints about it. So I guess it's a dodgy PCB; bloody typical really - just about the only part of the stick Madcatz are responsible for, and they still manage to skimp on it. Not pleased! The exact same thing happened to a TE stick owner during one of the Ranking Battles here... sounds like it could be a common problem. |

It seems alot of people are having alot of problems with these pads. I don't know why you don't pick up one of those Saturn USB pads from the bay. I picked up a black and white one for the less than the price that I sold my PS2 saturn pad for and they've proven excellent so far!

See that's the thing, I've still got a couple of old Saturn pads that I use via a Magic Box for the xbox. They're still just as sturdy as they were when I was using them on my Saturn over 10 years ago. I also have a PS2 HRAP that's seen almost 5 years of abuse and it's still in perfect working order.
Should've waited.. but I didn't really have much choice unless I fancied being without a stick on SFIV launch day. If the HRAPs were available over here I would've just gone straight for one of those! Thanks for the info plop/ryan, definitely doesn't seem to be an isolated issue then. I could just re-wire the offending button, but that's not what I laid down 150 notes for. Bastards! This post has been edited by Lyrical Donut: Mar 6 2009, 04:58 PM |
