Anyone completed the second Run & Gun level?

Spoiler

I saved up my super and used it all up there, but I stayed near the top of the screen as far as I can remember.

I've managed to do the first island but the second island is really tough and I've only managed to do one boss on simple.

I really like the presentation, it is top notch but it really is hard. I might do what Shend mention and move the dash button as it really is awkward on Y.

How did you get on in the end Randy?

#287709 Ryu Ga Gotoku Kiwami

I know I'm a bit late to the game, but this one has really hooked me into the series and I'm not sure why.

For the first time the combat has clicked and experimenting with different heat finishes is really fun, traffic cone has been my favourite so far.

Side stories now are fun and not distracting (Bad Dads) and then way the main story twists and weaves keeps pulling me back.

And Majima is great. Usually getting interrupted as your navigating the map to your next destination annoys me in most games but even normal fights never outstay their welcome and when Majima turns up I just smile. It helps his difficulty is toned down from the first time you meet him. I also like the fact I've met him in other places.

Even though the map is much smaller than say GTA, it seems to be more alive and the main characters you meet have some much about them.

I got the steel book version, not because I'm a collector of steels books but it was a fiver cheaper on Amazon than the normal version and I'm glad I did as it has an awesome back cover

#287698 Destiny 2

I played the first one quite a bit and progressed through the story and did a few raids and stuff and really enjoyed it.

So I started up the second which found my save from the first one and gave me a brief update of my progress show in stills and the date which I completed the bit which was quite nice and I was able to start the game with my existing character, but not any of my stuff.

The game starts of linking the two games together with a tutorial scene setting type bit which is nice and has a couple of good set pieces. The combat is still very good and familiar to the first game and the voice acting is spot.

You then get to start the game proper from the base.

So far so good and I was really enjoying it but then it started crashing. Now to put in context I don't have a PS4 Pro just a bog standard PS4 and have tried rebuilding the database, deleting and reinstalling it along with the massive first day patch, even tried a new character but still crashing every 10 minutes or so.

I even tried it with a new character but it crashed again.

It looks like I'm not alone https://www.gamespot...s/1100-6453184/.

So I decided to send it back as I got a physical copy from Amazon and I get the PC version when it comes out, as it will be cheaper and I don't think the Xbox has any problems and therefore I'm thinking it is an issue with my specific PS4

Also the PC version is appears to run well on lower spec PCs

II think I've just been unlucky as most of the people I see on the PS4 seem to be running the game just fine.

I've ordered it so I'm waiting for it to arrive. I like the look of the art style which seems to be quite in t fashion at the moment.

Overall I loved it and the soundtrack is awesome too.

Good for you, management like this tend to only care about the balance sheets and not the work or the workers. I'd have a backup plan, agency or whatever, but just basically be a passive pain int the arse, use your rights to looks for other work on their time and remember only gross misconduct can get you fired at this point :)

You probably have already seen this but just in case

Sorry to hear about that Randy. The best advice I can think of is being honest on your CV and trying to list a constructive list of task and talk about the ones you felt you are best at.

Do you have any big employers local to you? by this I mean Universities, Hospitals as it might be worth having a look there and tailoring your CV to anything that looks relevant.

An agency is a good option if you get stuck, but in my experience some put you forward for any old thing that might vaguely match your CV.

I've been made redundant three times and I left the last job when they started going through organisational change as I couldn't bear going through the process again, so I really do feel for the situation you are in at the moment as I know how hard it can be.

1) Nier (PS3) - Endings B,C and D

2) Drakengard 3 - Branches A,B and C

I thought I'd give this another go after finishing Nier as it exists in the same universe sort of. Anyway it has some good points but I couldn't be bothered grinding gold to unlock the final branch so I watched it on youtube instead, which I think was a good decision in the end.

1) Nier (PS3) - Endings B,C and D

Personally I enjoyed mopping up the endings and doing a few quests to finish it off and since you only have to play half the game and the enemies don't scale with your character levelling up. So you can pretty much one shot most of the bosses, which makes it quite quick to finish off.

Happy Christmas everybody :)

#287347 Nier (series)

Yeah Automata is open world which will hopefully be similar to Nier, as it was nice just to wander about at times.

I really enjoyed the demo and the combat was really slick and fun, so much I completed it twice and have started to try and understand the combat system.

I also managed to open up a shortcut, not that it was much use, but hopefully means there are secrets and shortcuts littered about the place.

I think it looks pretty decent but then I'm not as bothered by graphics as long as it runs smooth.

Don't worry the servers still aren't totally stable, so you will probably have a better experience when it does arrive :)

OPM are doing some official special move cards

Handy to have if you are swapping between characters but not sure they are worth £5.99 even if you do get a magazine free :)
