The Wii Friend Codes are part of the Profile Information. Is it worth adding the 2DS/3DS Friend Code as well, as it is console based rather than game based?

Sounds perfectly reasonable. If nobody else had done it by the time I'm free tonight I'll have a little look.

I already added in the option a few days ago. Not yet tested it out to make sure it's working, though.

Something else that I'm intending to do when I add the Online section back in is start up a bunch of new gamertag / friend code threads. It'd be good to be able to centralise them somewhere and the current system doesn't allow for people to have multiple tags or multiples of the same machine. Well, it could, but then the profile's would be so massive that threads would be impossible to read.

On the test forum I toyed around with replacing the text for a specific id with a small icon; which would link to either the external site or just to the profile page. For example, a steam or Xbox icon would directly link to the steam or Xbox profile pages etc. Maybe worth revisiting perhaps.

I still really like the idea.

I still can't see the option if I Edit my Profile. I just get Wii, PSN and Gamertag at the bottom of the page.

Are you actually clicking the 'Edit' button when you're in your profile? The option's there for me.

Yes, I click to open the Profile and then click on Edit the Profile which allows me to change the contents, but no sign of the 2DS/3DS Friend Code.

It shows for me too.  I thought this may be permissions related, but I've just taken a look and there doesn't seem to be any permissions options for custom profile fields.  So not sure why it's not showing.

I am posting on a PS3, which may be treated as a mobile device. Would that make a difference?

That's the only thing it can be, as far as I can tell. I can see the option when I go into your profile to edit it myself, so if you want to post your code here, I'll stick it into your profile for you.

Thanks, it is 2595-1300-1089. Strange that I can see the Wii Code, PSN and Gamertag, but no the 2DS/3DS code.

Inevitably I can't actually see it on people's post. Maybe I should have checked on the 360 to see if Internet Explorer there was any more helpful.
